I upgraded the laptop from Debian 11 to Debian 13 ("Trixie the Triceratops").
Things are unfamiliar and awkward. It looks like the Wayland windowing platform has taken over from X11, perhaps. Konsole can't launch X apps. XTerm can launch X apps. I reinstalled the Zola blog and Obsidian. Zola wouldn't compile this blog, since it's not really backward compatible for configuration. Obsidian won't launch from Konsole (segmentation fault), but will launch from XTerm or Dolphin with only a little complaining.
